What kind of B movies? Titty movies? Sci-fi? Horror? I don't watch a lot of them, but I have been on a quest to find the best TnA flicks on Netflix instant. I discovered that they don't add a lot of those to instant viewing, however, there are a couple that have slipped through the cracks. Sassy Sue and The Pigkeeper's Daughter had the best ratio of nudity to plot. That is, no plot, lots of nudity. I mean, if that's what you want. The Ghost in the Teeny Bikini gets honorable mention for bordering on funny. There are a couple of others on there, but none of them are worth it, at least that I've seen. There are, of course, hundreds of TnA flicks on Netflix on DVD, but I have more important things to rent when it comes to that. Still, I do have one or two queued up. The thing is, by the time I get the thing, I'm not in the mood for it anymore. Actually, the same happens with instant, a lot of the time. Usually it's a matter of shear disappointment at the dullness of the things. I've seen a few other B movies, like Plan 9 from Outerspace. Which was amusing. And some old post-apocalypse movie with David Carradine. It kind of sucked. Remind me of others, and I'll comment. |

The Rock says... it doesn't matter what kind of B movie it is! Really... any and all types are fine. How about the Evil Dead trilogy? Deathstalker? The Abominable Dr. Phibes? Roger Corman's "The Raven"? And how about the magic that is this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i-Fig_LoBy4&feature=PlayList&p=5121B90BF0BB9A3C&playnext=1&playnext_from=PL&index=16 They call him boss! And the Deathstalker series is hilarious. I just found out about it from the AVGN, actually. His introduction to the series: http://www.spike.com/video/cinemassacre/3357960 The censored word is "rape". The perfect way to watch Deathstalker 3? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q9Z8d2lcBkg&feature=related (rest of the parts you should be able to find your way to) OK... who's next? | The recent Easier with Practice which I reviewed on HMR is top-notch for an independent film. So is Around: Embrace the Fall. And it's been a long time and I saw it as a kid, and so can't vouche for the quality, but I remember loving Will Wheaton's "The Curse." It was made in the late 70s or 80s and it's about an asteroid that brings an alien germ to a family farm. The father is abusive to the whole family, but slowly the curse consumes the fruit and does them in. So creepy! I need to see that again. |

I've seen Evil Dead, liked the third one a lot, liked the other 2 OK. I forget, whatever MST3K has done, I've seen a bunch of episodes, though not all. Or most. |
