Dare to gaze down into it? http://bighollywood.breitbart.com/vjackson/2010/02/02/the-obamunism-bikini/ Check out what this brainiac posted:
And that's just a small sample! The main article is batshit, as are most of the replies. Victoria Jackson is dumber than dirt, literally dumber than dirt. Some more of her ramblings: http://bighollywood.breitbart.com/author/vjackson/ Edited by Bonzolee, Feb 3 2010, 03:53 AM.

The middle class is shrinking, that much is true– but that is not a new phenomenon by any means. That trend goes back quite a few years. And they themselves are partly to blame. They refuse to support things that may actually help them because they respond to public relations campaigns designed to scare them. It works because they are ignorant. And I grew up in the middle class. The middle class have voted (both with their economic power and actual votes) like idiots, OK? That's their problem. And far too many people just are either too stupid or too lazy to get involved. The money is all going to the top. Stratification is becoming increasingly rigid. And some of these crazies (not the middle class; the extreme right wingers in this country) feel that Obama is actually trying to KILL, as in slaughter, the middle class, and letting Bush's tax cuts expire is one way. Another way is universal health care– the government and its "death panels" will deem you unworthy of medical care, forcing you to die. That's what some of these imbeciles believe. Never mind the fact that the middle class did much better before Bush's tax cuts (though they were still facing a downward trend). Never mind the fact that those tax cuts were mostly for the rich. Never mind the fact that Obama could let those tax cuts expire, raise taxes on the rich, and issue new tax cuts for the middle class. Never mind the fact that the president's budget, released earlier this week, calls for a continuation of the Bush tax cuts for anyone making less than $250,000. Their arguments have not a single leg to stand on. So, you have some idiots from the middle class fighting tooth and nail to extend the tax cuts for the richest people in the country because they feel that Obama not continuing all of Bush's tax cuts means that the "Islamist Terrorist Communist" in chief is trying to backdoor tax them. Then you have the retards who think he's literally trying to kill them. And who do you think encourages this shit? Those who will actually be affected by the tax increase– the rich. The insurance companies did the same damn thing with the health care bill. They happily spread propaganda, and the people who could have benefited from the bill did all the work to help water it down, and may have possibly killed the thing entirely. Thankfully, not everyone believes this shit. But... I live in Delaware, a blue (liberal) state, and from what I've seen, I'd say the middle class is pretty much split on this issue. Actually, more people from the middle class are actually on the opposing side, unfortunately. And you know what's going to happen with the elections later this year? The Republicans are going to win some seats back, but I have no clue how many. It could be bad. The reason? The Republicans vote against everything that the Democrats want. Democrats make HUGE concessions, Obama incorporates some of the Republicans' ideas, and they still vote against it. If Obama endorses a Republican idea, they vote against their own idea. Then they claim that government is ineffective because the Democrats suck (because the Democrats currently have more power, you see). They claim the Democrats have locked them out from the process, which is patently false. It's a short term political game designed to make those in power look bad, but it completely fucks the citizens of this country out of a quality government. And later this year, that strategy will probably wind up securing more seats for the Republicans, because the country will turn to those not in the majority. The psychology behind it? Through Operant Conditioning, the citizens of this country are encouraging bad government and narrow-minded, selfish politicians. The citizens are reinforcing this behavior through votes. And that's what they have been doing. This isn't new. Why does our government suck? Why can't they get shit done? Because the voters reinforce this behavior. If the voters were smarter, we'd have a better government. If these practices didn't earn votes, then they would cease. And the Democrats aren't innocent of bad behavior either, though the Republicans certainly take the cake for it at the present moment. But make no bones about it– I favor the Democrat party. At this point in history, I feel they are the intellectually superior party, and they are more honest and effective. I also don't like them very much. Look, in modern times, the Republicans and the Democrats both support various business interests and such; they reflect different elite constituencies. It's just that the interests the Democrats support also happen to be better for the majority of our citizens. The majority of our citizens happen to do considerably better under Democratic, than Republican administrations. According to studies done by political scientists, this is a fact. Neither party represents the people, though plenty of people think that they do. That's pretty much how it is. Obama may have been willing to work with Republicans on adding on TORT reform to a larger health care bill, but neither the Republicans nor Democrats were willing to do it. The Republicans represent the insurance industry and want to protect it, while the Democrats would never allow the trial lawyers to take the hit they would under TORT reform. Hell, I myself was against TORT reform. It's not that I'm rigidly against it– I just don't want that to pass while the larger reform effort against the insurance companies sinks; and had a suspicion that such a thing would happen. I'm all for TORT reform as part of a larger package. And the real kicker to all of this is that as society becomes increasingly complex, people base their decisions – even ones of much importance – on just a few features of the overall problem or challenge. Much like other animals, humans create "mental shortcuts", or triggers, to deal with the world. That specific aspect of a problem becomes the "trigger feature", and the decisions people make only take that one, or few features, into account. And the more complex something is, the more we rely on these shortcuts. People only think something through when they have both the desire and ability to make a fully informed decision. The world is becoming complex at an increasingly rapid pace, and people are having to rely on more and more shortcuts. This makes the manipulation process ever easier. Triggers are used by many animals, including us, because they tend to work most of the time (people around you are running away from a building while screaming? Don't go inside). But if you figure out what the "trigger feature" in something is, you can manipulate it and make the person using it look silly. And the more and more people rely on these mental shortcuts, the easier it is to manipulate them into doing what you want them to. Even into who you want them to be. Unless something changes there... well, you get the picture. The problems I'm seeing, as you can tell from my writing, are pervasive and complex. They are everywhere, most people see them, but they do not observe. Do I think any large number of people are going to eventually figure this shit out for themselves anytime soon? Unfortunately, I don't. As long as that is the case, they may as well be but children in the world. Edited by Bonzolee, Feb 4 2010, 01:46 AM.

Bonzo I fear you're asking too much of weak, humans with many foibles. There will always be con artists; so there will always be suckers. I.e. those that don't know and don't know that they don't know. They're actually quite dangerous, so keep your distance. Edited by Perry, Feb 5 2010, 04:39 AM.

These are some of the truest words I have ever read. Especially "Those that don't know and don't know that they don't know"........ That's dangerous shit right there. I know this because I've been on that side... |

It's a growing sub culture don't you know! Ours involves Andrew's quite large and sturdy boat, provisions, and a very remote island. Guns/harpoons etc for those zombies that can swim or power a vessel. The first thing to decide is where you're going and how you're going to get there...lol Then you need to work out what you'll need to survive once you reach said destination. And, very importantly, who you want to take (this is a good way to work out who you really do love!) Andrew, my weirdo partner, is adding the following as I type this to give you ane xample, zombie evacuation plan, undertakes the following considerations: 1. Type of zombie outbreak - airborne, bloodborne, bites, being coughed upon, alien invasion. 2. Speed at which zombiefication (??!) is transmitted 3. Duration in which it takes zombies to self aniahlate or die off naturally These factors determine STEP 2 1. Picking a place to retreat to The evacuation plan, which my family will operate from (So I've just been informed LOL), has been based on all manner of disease transmission and on at least a 6 month contingency. He therefore has determined, that fighting them off for six months is impractical and would surely result in infection and/or death. Hence the purchase two years ago of a 40 foot ocean going trawler that is currently undergoing a rebuild. He has sat and worked out which coastal islands would be the best to reatreat to and would offer the most protecion and best chances at survival. He has mapped these islands all along the eastern seaboard of queensland. Scarily, he had this plan when I met him. See, we take this stuff very seriously...LOL Edited by Gemmy63, Feb 27 2010, 11:57 PM.
