| Yes indeed. The big Cop out. Invoke Cheeziz and you cannot fall off. I might be the biggest SOB in the world but Cheeziz will set me straight. Well where the fuck was He when Sanford was dipping into the Argentinian Corn beef? |

I was getting ready to post this very story myself! Sanford is now trying to sell this as a "religious transformation" of sorts, all part of God's plan, and it's absolutely shameful. Anytime somebody is involved with something like this they always try to invoke Jesus. It seems every two months or so another story like this comes out. |

| This a purely diguised PR objective. He was told frequently to STFU and now this seems the only way to get him back on board. But if a President can shag his way around and deny he had sex, then surely a Govenor can be forgiven? |

Sure; that doesn't change the fact that Sanford should resign. He urged all the others caught up in this sort of thing to resign. He's been quite vocal about it. The man should be held to his own standard. |

Would that be a vicariously religious standard?

Perhaps more a pleonasm than a euphemism? |
