I am very religious about fitness. Besides the resistance training that I undergo often, I run 4-5 miles every other day. I have been a runner for years, so it's not like I'm any sort of novice. Problem is, the last two times that I have ran, I have been getting bad cramps under my right lower rib. And they seem to start hurting at about the same time and distance during the run (only after 2 miles!). I am well hydrated and eat plenty of bananas for potassium. Any suggestions or information that might help me? |

| You sound just like my brother, who is also in the service and runs 5 or so a day. I have no idea what that could be. You might ask on Yahoo! Answers or Healthboards.com. My out-of-shape ass is no authority. Best I can do is swim, but that's so impractical and I'm so lazy, I seldom get to it. |
