1) Express how you feel, share, debate, and make your points, but be respectful. No ad hominem attacks and low-blow jabs. There is a section of this forum where nearly any angry sentiment can be expressed, and that is the Rants and Raves section, also known as The Rubber Room. But outside of that, try and keep civilized, OK? 2) Don't cross the line from freedom of expression into threatening to commit illegal or slanderous activities! I'm all for free speech, but no threats or declarations of willfully committing malicious acts! They will not be tolerated. 3) Remember the Honest Posting Policy: No spreading internet rumors and lies about anyone or thing. Part of being a smart person means having some sense and checking out to identify what is true or is likely true from what is bunk and totally false! The main thing is, don't intentionally post anything you know to be untrue. 4) Don't post personal info. on the public boards. We will delete all such information. Use the PM function if you want to exchange such info. or a more private forum available to you. 5) Don't use too much profanity. I don't really care, but we don't want to come off like a board of angry teeny-boppers. Just don't turn into a drunken sailor on us! 6) Don't post porn! We don't want to open ourselves up to smutographers and pervs. We have a mature issues forum for senior members and above. 7) ABSOLUTELY NO SPAMMING or coming here to proselytize for off-site purposes, business ventures, social/religious activities, etc. That is rude and just clutters things up. All who do so will be banned from the site, maybe even on a first offense! Joe has no tolerance for spammers! (JH)
